Children enrolled in state and municipal schools are entitled to additional training in Bulgarian language.

Bulgarian language courses provided by non-governmental organizations
- The Information and Integration Center of the Bulgarian Red Cross offers courses for levels A1, A2 and B The diploma for successfully completed course B1 is recognized when applying for Bulgarian citizenship.
- Center for Social Rehabilitation and Integration of Refugees “St. Anna” of Caritas Sofia offers courses in Bulgarian language
